Assembled by Dominican composer/arranger Eddi Gonzalez, 9-piece band Mamajuana including three singers, two of them from Dominican Republic and one from Orlando Florida. Mamajuana (name of an exotic and aphrodisiac beverage) combines Afro-Caribbean and contemporary rhythms with romantic lyrics. Their self-titled debut album, released by Sony International, featured the hit singles "Mamasota" and "Sin Un Beso Suyo."
